The keys are available at the temporary location on 46 Industrial Drive, Postmaster Michael Watts said.
They will also be available at the new location when it opens this coming Monday, June 15, at 1037 MacArthur Boulevard.
HOURS:
- Retail area open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday (not 4 p.m., as originally announced):
- Lobby from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
The new 2,200-square-foot facility, replacing the former East Ramapo Avenue location, features “state-of-the-art point of sale retail units, a modern customer service counter area, and a contemporary lobby,” Watts said.
“The community and our employees are going to find the new Post Office to be a convenient, modern, and great place to do business,” he said.
Watt noted that the Postal Service “receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.”
